LDR helps you lead people, so it holds things that matter: notes about your team, feedback, your calendar and, if you connect it, your inbox. Here is what we keep, why, and what we never do with it.
The short version
- Your information is used to run LDR for you. We don't sell it, rent it or use it for advertising.
- You stay in charge. LDR never sends, deletes or puts anything on an agenda without your yes.
- The most private writing (coach conversations, 1-on-1 notes, reviews, meeting transcripts, messages) is encrypted in our database.
- Anonymous feedback stays anonymous. We never store who wrote it.
- You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it at any time.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address, organization name and logo, and your settings.
- What you put in: the people you lead, tasks, projects, vision, meetings, decisions, notes, reviews, survey answers, messages and conversations with the coach.
- What your team puts in: when you invite people, their weekly updates, feedback and messages are stored in your workspace.
- Connected inbox and calendar (only if you connect them): LDR reads your mail and calendar to sort your inbox, find follow-ups and track your time. It shows you messages live. It keeps only what you choose to turn into something (a task, a signal, a summary), not copies of every message.
- Meeting recordings: your browser turns speech into text. We never keep audio. We keep the transcript (encrypted) and what you choose to save from it.
- Sign-in: we use one cookie to keep you signed in, plus short-lived cookies during Google or Microsoft sign-in. No advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use it
- To run LDR: show your work, coach you, send the emails you asked for (sign-in links, weekly updates, notices).
- To keep LDR safe: preventing abuse, fixing problems and keeping accounts separate.
- We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't let the companies we work with train on it.
Who else sees it
- The people you choose. Your team sees what you share with them. An assistant sees only what you grant, and never your coach conversations, 1-on-1 notes, reviews, feedback, inbox or private tasks.
- Services that run LDR for us, only as needed to do their job:
- Railway (hosting and database, in the United States)
- Anthropic (Claude, the AI behind the coach). It processes what the coach needs to answer you, and doesn't train on it.
- Resend (sending email)
- Google and Microsoft, only if you sign in with them or connect your inbox and calendar
- The law. If we are legally required to, we will share only what is required, and tell you unless the law forbids it.
Google and Microsoft data
Signing in with Google gives LDR only your name and verified email. Connecting Gmail or Google Calendar gives LDR access to read and organize your mail and read your calendar, used only to provide the inbox, follow-up and time features you see. LDR's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't use that data for advertising, sell it, or let people read it, except with your permission, for security, or as the law requires. The same limits apply to Microsoft data. You can disconnect at any time in LDR or in your Google or Microsoft account.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and its content within 30 days. Backups that contain it are overwritten on their normal schedule. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and sessions after 30 days.
Your choices
- See and change your information in LDR at any time.
- Disconnect your inbox or calendar on the Email page.
- Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@ldr.coach. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under the law; we will honor them.
Security
Every connection is encrypted. Private writing and connected-account keys are encrypted in the database. Each account's data is kept separate, and every request checks who is asking. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects your information, we will tell you promptly.
Children
LDR is for adults leading people at work. It is not meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in LDR or by email before it takes effect.
